This is our home ground: over 25 years of operational emergency management, distilled into response plans, trained teams and round-the-clock support for your organisation.
Municipal by-laws in Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Mogale City and Tshwane — among others — require every company to hold an emergency evacuation plan, and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 require a practiced response plan covering all eventualities. Ours are built on your actual floor plan, with role-specific procedures, and address 17 modern risks and threats including mass action and terrorist threats.
An ERT is a group of your own employees trained to handle emergencies fast, efficiently and at a fraction of outsourced cost: advanced emergency care including AED use, blood pressure measurement and patient stabilisation, plus advanced fire fighting — protective equipment, search and rescue, water streams and fluid dynamics — with a hazardous materials module where your operations require it.
Our 24-hour service covers the full incident lifecycle: emergency size-up and management, incident command and emergency services liaison, injury-on-duty recording for the Compensation Commissioner, Annexure 2 incident investigation and reporting, trauma counselling arrangement, and scene clean-up so work can safely resume.
We audit bi-annual emergency evacuation drills, review plans against what the drills reveal, and keep your emergency equipment inspected and serviced. The placement of an emergency response capability is recognised in clause 8.2 of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 — meaning your ERT is also certification evidence, not just insurance.
